About me

My name is Isis Rivera. I started Pop Rock Photography in October of 2012, named after my two oldest daughters Dakota and Indiana, who we nicknamed Kota-pop and Indie-rock.

Photography to me isnt about capturing how a person looks.. its about capturing how the person feels. Nostalgia is key. I want you to get more than just an image of how you looked that day. I want you to come away with a piece of art that makes you remember what your life is about.

I also love to have fun and play with themes, survive an apocalypse, live in a different era... have your child look like an immigrant from 1918.. whatever you're into :) .....
